Our History

The journey of God's Little Children

Inception

God's Little Children (GLC) was established on September 20th, 2019, with a vision to provide spiritual nurture and biblical education to children in our community. What began as a humble gathering started with 26 children, eager to learn about God's love and His Word. From the very beginning, our mission was clear: to raise children who would become lights in their communities, grounded in faith and equipped with biblical values.

Temporary Halt

In 2020, GLC faced significant challenges and was forced to pause operations due to lack of funds. This was a difficult season for our ministry, but it was also a time of prayer, reflection, and renewed commitment to the vision God had given us. We knew that the work was not finished, and we trusted that God would make a way for us to continue serving His little ones.

Resumption & Growth

By God's grace, GLC resumed operations in 2023 with renewed vigor and purpose. We were overwhelmed with joy to see our numbers grow to over 90 children! To better serve each age group, we organized the children into four distinct classes:

  • Topaz (Ages 3–5): Our youngest learners, discovering God's love through play, songs, and simple stories.
  • Sapphire (Ages 6–8): Building foundational Bible knowledge through engaging lessons and memory verses.
  • Emerald (Ages 9–12): Deepening their understanding of Scripture and developing godly character.
  • Amethyst (Ages 13–15): Young disciples learning to lead, serve, and live out their faith boldly.

Provision & Support

Throughout our journey, God has faithfully provided for every need. Friends of the ministry have donated free books and stationery to ensure every child has the tools they need to learn. Our founders have personally provided snacks each week, ensuring that no child goes hungry during our sessions. Dedicated volunteers have given their time, talents, and hearts to teach, mentor, and care for these precious children. Every contribution, no matter how small, has been a testament to God's provision and the generosity of His people.

Our Commitment

GLC is more than a Saturday Bible School—it is a beacon of hope, a place where children are nourished spiritually, socially, and academically. We are committed to raising a generation of children who know, love, and serve God, and who will shine as lights in their families, schools, and communities. As we look to the future, we remain steadfast in our mission, trusting God to continue His good work in and through God's Little Children.
